The Bioethics Research Library at Georgetown University (BRL) participates in Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services including the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s DOCLINE program. BRL provides articles from journals to which it subscribes and chapters from books in its collection. At this time, BRL does not charge other libraries for ILL transactions.
Loansome Doc enables users to order articles identified while searching the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s PubMed database. This service is available to both U.S. and international users.
Several publishers and organizations also provide articles to the international community.
Georgetown-affiliated users can request materials through the WRLC Consortium Loan Service, Article Reach, or InterLibrary Loan. Learn how to request an article or journal title.
Library staff members are happy to answer any questions about ILL services. Please contact the library at bioethics@georgetown.edu or 202-687-3885.
