The Patients Were Saved. That’s Why the Families Are Suing

Online today in the NY Times (in print tomorrow):  “The Patients Were Saved. That’s Why the Families Are Suing” with brilliant quotes by Thaddeus Pope.

This article eloquently expands on the problem of unwanted medical treatment.  I recently addressed this in “Legal Briefing: New Penalties for Ignoring Advance Directives and Do-Not-Resuscitate Orders” in the spring 2017 Journal of Clinical Ethics.
