You may nominate one or more members for each open position, and self-nominations are welcome, by completing a form for each nominee and attaching a brief resume or CV. ASBH seeks leaders who are knowledgeable about effective governance, role models to ASBH members and the bioethics and humanities community, able to think strategically, and able to support and defend diversity. | | Nominations for the following awards are due by May 2. Nominations must include the nominee’s name and current professional affiliation, as well as the reasons for making the nomination. The awards will be presented at the ASBH 18th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. The ASBH Lifetime Achievement Award is the Society’s highest honor. It recognizes a distinguished individual for excellence in bioethics and/or the medical humanities. It is given in recognition of longstanding achievement in bioethics and/or the medical humanities. The ASBH Distinguished Service Award may be given to a current and longstanding member of ASBH who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in advancing the goals of the Society.
The ASBH Cornerstone Award is the Society’s highest honor given to an institution. |
