Minnesota Compassionate Care Act Listening Session with Senator Eaton
Senator Chris Eaton (DFL-Brooklyn Center) is preparing to host a community listening session on Senate File 1880, the Compassionate Care Act. Senator Eaton has authored the bill, which would allow medical patients to request aid in dying and set up measures by which doctors can determine the competency and validity of the request.
The listening session is open to all those interested in learning more or sharing their thoughts on the topic, and will be held Saturday, October 17 at the Brooklyn Park Community Center, from 1:00 to 3:00.
