Adult stem cells novel uses

The number of diseases that can be treated by adult stem cells transplant from another person or the patient himself is rising every day. This possibility has now been extended to diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis, as a phase 3 clinical trial using autologous stem cells (JAMA 311; 2490-2498,2014) is about to conclude, although at present the results are uncertain.
