Home >> NRCBL >> Events >> Health Care Decisions Day National Health Care Decisions Day at Georgetown UniversityGeorgetown University Hospital, along with other national, state and community organizations, is a leader in the effort to highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making. The Second Annual National Healthcare Decisions Day will be held on April 16, 2009. Librarians from the National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature will be joined by Hospital Chaplains, Social Workers, Patient Advocates, and Ethicists at information tables set up at major entrances to the hospital from 9 AM to 3 PM. Plan to stop by and bring your questions or simply pick up copies of sample advance directives and other literature about advance health care decision-making. Specialized resources are available and additional assistance can be obtained onsite at the Bioethics Library of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature), in Healy 102 or on the web at http://bioethics.georgetown.edu.Carol Taylor, RN, PhD, Director of the GUMC Center for Clinical Bioethics will present:
